The Brockville Country Club plays host to many Bonspiels throughout the curling season. Each year the curling season kicks off with the pinnacle of all spiels; the Shorty Jenkins Classic. The Shorty draws the cream of the men and lady curlers from across Canada and Internationally. The Howard, Martin, Stoughton, Hemmings, Gushue men's rinks and McCormick, Hanna, Reddick, Lindner women's rinks and many more top teams have been regulars over the years. The Shorty is such a great Brockville Country Club event, it has its own button on the Curling Bar. Check it out. Spectators are encouraged and welcome.
