BCC Memberships

The Brockville Country Club is a membership sponsored organization committed to providing its members, their families, guests and the community at large, access to a quality recreational and social environment. The Club has an overseeing Board of Directors, Golf and Curling Councils and a host of committees all staffed by Member Volunteers. The Club employs a great staff to look after the day-by-day operations and the members look after the many Club sporting and social programs. At all times throughout the year guests of members and/or the general public are welcome to use the golf, curling and banquet facilities of the Brockville County Club. Membership, of course, has many advantages and the BCC has a number of Membership Categories as listed below, to suit varying needs.

A. Regular Golfer and/or Curler:
Golfer – has achieved the age of 45, as of April 1st of the current season
Curler – Has achieved the age of 35 as of October 1st of the current season

Full golfing and Curling privileges and year round use of clubhouse facilities including dining room, lounges, locker room, showers and sauna. Golfers receive reduced green fee rates for their guests. Curlers can golf at reduced fees at specific times. Golf shop services include club cleaning and storage and practice range privileges. Lessons available from our professional staff. Our Pro Shop offers a full selection of golf and curling attire and equipment.

B. Intermediate Golfer and/or Curler:
Golfer – has not achieved the age of 45, as of April 1 of the current year.
Curler – Has not achieved the age of 35 as of October 1 of the current season.

C. Junior Golfer and/or Curler:
Golfer – has not achieved the age of 19, as of April 1 of the current season.
Curler – has not achieved the age of 19 as of October 1 of the current season.

Juniors may play golf on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays after 1:00 pm or between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm on weekends and holidays if they are playing with a regular member. They may play after 4:00 pm on weekdays (after twilights) or between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm if accompanied by a member. The “Junior Golf program” runs Monday mornings during July and August. The Club requires children under the age of ten to be under the direct supervision of an adult when on the golf course, practice areas or in the clubhouse. Juniors may curl during the allotted Junior league time on Sundays, practice on ice when it is free from league play and play in other regular leagues as per league stipulations regarding Juniors.

D.  Social or Non-Resident:
Social: Social members retain their status in the Club, have full use of all clubhouse facilities and can partake of the various functions held at the Club throughout the year. Social members are allowed to golf a limited number of games each year at a preferred rate.

Non-Resident Social: Non-resident social members must reside more than 65 km from Brockville and have neither summer nor temporary residence in the Brockville area. As with Social, Non-resident social members have year round use of all clubhouse facilities and reduced green fee rates for themselves and their guests for four rounds per year.

Non-Resident Golfer: A non-resident golf member must reside 75 km from Brockville and have neither summer nor temporary residence in the Brockville area. The non-resident golf member has full club priveleges including access to BCC reciprocal golf courses.

E.  Corporate:
One employee of a corporation may hold a single corporate membership. Signing privileges on the Corporates Member's account may be arranged for designated employees of the company. Initiation fees apply for Corporate Golf membership or Corporate Golf and Curling membership. Check with the BCC office for full details. Discount available to Chamber and Ad & Sales members organizations.

New Member Program

The Brockville Country Club has a “New Member Program” and a Mentor “Ambassador Program”, both designed to introduce new members into the Club. New members are welcome, and these programs will review the various facilities available to new members, explain much of the curling and golf etiquette at the Club and introduce new members to many of the Club's current members.


Member Benefits

There are many benefits to being a member of the Brockville Country Club. Following are some of those benefits in an eighteen (18) hole round at the BCC:

Hole 1:  A sense of belonging by being part of a “Club”. Great camaraderie, and opportunity to meet many interesting people.

Hole 2:  Unlimited golf & curling at a premium facility. Golf 7 days a week if you wish. Some members golf twice a day! Many curling leagues.

Hole 3:  Cart Rental Packages. The BCC has considerable elevation changes. A power cart can be an advantage. Pull carts available to members n/c.

Hole 4:  Practice Facilities: Members can use the driving range (balls at range, no extra charge), putting, chipping, practice sand trap at will.

Hole 5:  Club Storage: Members will have their clubs cleaned and stored in a locked supervised area following play.

Hole 6:  Locker Available: Men and lady golf and curler members are assigned a yearly or seasonal locker in their respective locker rooms.

Hole 7:  Access to Dining Facilities: Golf and curling lounges and main dining room available to members year round. Also meeting rooms.

Hole 8:  Signing Authority: Members are able to make purchases for any aspect of the Club by signing a chit. An invoice is then sent monthly.

Hole 9:  Tee Booking System: Through a member's Web Site, tee times can be booked, with a 7 day advance, over the Internet. Fair for everyone.

Hole 10: Member Web Site: A separate BCC member web site, accessed by ID# and password, available with lots of member info, and tee system.

Hole 11: Outside Tournaments: BCC members have RCGA recognition making members eligible to play in tournaments with RCGA sanction.

Hole 12: Handicap System: A PC based handicap system is available to members allowing easy development and maintenance of handicaps.

Hole 13: Pro Shop on Site: A well stocked seasonal (golf & curling) Pro shop is available to members with great selection and competitive pricing.

Hole 14: Golf Professional: To tweak your game, golf lessons are available at the BCC for members from our on-site CPGA Club Professional, Derek MacDonald.

Hole 15: Social Activities: Members of the Club's golf, curling and various committees run a host of social activities for members of all ages.

Hole 16: League Play:  Members may select from a huge number of golf and curling leagues for men, women and juniors. Something for everyone!

Hole 17: Monthly Payment Plan: Members may choose pay their dues on a monthly basis adding to the convenience of being a BCC member.

Hole 18: Reciprocal golf at Other Clubs: The BCC has reciprocal golf privileges for members at area clubs allowing play for up to 50% off.

Hole 19: Always a Bonus: After play, members can always join their buddies at the 19th hole to splash down their favorite and brag of their round.
